Welcome to my website in progress. I am slowly adding more artwork and also more information about my past work and project, for now, here is a small sampling. Check back soon for updates!
I am an artist, arts enthusiast and supporter of creative entrepreneurs.
I earned my bachelor’s degrees from North Carolina State University in Art and Design and in Political Theory. I have since accumulated over a decade of experience in gallery management and arts administration and non-profit management.
In the DC area I worked with organizations such as the Torpedo Factory Art Center in Alexandria, and Art Whino, a large, international gallery in DC where she served as the founding director.
In 2010, I returned to academia and earned my Master of Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire. After business school I entered the fast paced and cutting edge world of web development, managing creative projects for clients such as GE Health, Keurig, Samsung, and her favorite, the Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute.
For a while, settled in Houston, Susannah managed events and programming for Silver Street Studios and helped to develop cultural programming across the full the Sawyer Yards Creative Campus. I also serves as the Founding Director of the newly designated Washington Avenue Arts District, a State recognized cultural district that is home to the highest concentration of working artists in Texas. As the leader of this budding organization, I worked to preserve, promote and progress the area’s special creative offerings through programming and marketing.
For fun I love to get outside - hiking, scuba diving, and generally exploring this incredible world we live in.
